Chaos at Tournaments Advice
Hi, I'm thinking about taking a Chaos team to the French Open tournament; either one of the following:
4 Chaos Warriors
6 Beastmen
1 Minotaur
3 RR
2 FF
Or 3 Chaos Warriors, 7 Beastmen and 6 FF
I know minotaurs are not the most reliable Big Guys, but I just don't like ogres.
Does anybody here have any experience with Chaos teams in TR110 Tournament environments?
Any tips/hints/suggestions? Think this would work?

Exactly! but it works as well with minotaure
As for your team, i dont really have any advice. the thing for me is that you don't start with any skills. And for me ST3 with block is much better than pure ST4. But on game 6, you can get a pretty nasty team (piling on on everybody!) Anyway, 3 RR seems to be a good point to start with. Now, why not dropping a CW for BM and increase your FF? Usually, players will go for a big roster with a small FF. This can get you RR or even better on those damned throw a rock or pitch invasion. Minotaur is a good choice(for me) as you can get a chance to blitz your opponent big guy...imagine that coupled with piling on! For the rest, i don't know. I know Anthony took chaos at Nottingham and managed very well. he could give you good advices.

If he did very well, how come his NAF Rating is less than 150?
Further more, I think I would rather give the mino block than Piling On.
Just to be on the safe site...

Well, at least for the painting, he did very well
Block or piling on? Block you're safe. piling on you make casualties which should be your aim, no? Beside, with piling on, next turn your mino stands up, so you don't have to block 2 dice against you...but it's just my opinion.
i'll give piling on to my bg. why not have a game before the tourny to rule that on the field?

Well, maybe I should just play Dwarfs again...
I will be arriving at the tourney Paris on friday, but I don't know what time.
We'll just have to see whether there's time for a game then...

I figured that much, but it's either the team with mino, or Dwarfs...
I really like my mino (fluff), and I don't want to play a Chaos team and then get both Outskilled and outmuscled by those cheap greenskinned bastards they call orcs...

If your desperate to take the minotaur, then your initial roster seems ok, except, you'll burn re-rolls blocking, so every action will become high risk.
If i took a Mino, then i'd play him in the backfield, but i guess you want to stick him thick in the action. Good luck. if you finish with a 4-2 record, i'd say you'll have done pretty well anything better than that will be a fantastic result
