If August it would be useful to make the 30/31st weekend or the 16/17 weekend, as the German Gamesday is on August, 24th (an my birthday also, by the way ... )

So if should not be too close to Amsterdam (mid of July), how about August 30/31?

N-Key, if that's OK with you, we could try to fix the date (and location) and move on with the organisation. It would be around 3 months from now and we really need some time ahead to draw some international and national interest!

the 16th/17th has my preference though. Because the 30th might be the weekend of the French tourney and would mean that just when I return home, I have to go back again a week later.
And, 16th/17th is more than a month after Tulips 8)

Since I don't have time to really go on holiday this year, a tournament in august might be a really good excuse to get away from it all...

I took 3/4 month to organise RDV BB, it was a race for me.
For the bedroom, if you can mangae this. There is no problem, people will find somewhere (as for the other tourny).

I'm thinking about running a tournament here (Lyon/Saint-Etienne), but it's a fact finding a good date is a real pain...

IMHO, it's a good news: i don't think people earns enough money, or are enough hardocore gamers, to run all NAF tournaments... So having more and more tournaments is a good thing, since it's a good way for national players to have a lot of tournaments in their country/some extras with "international" tournaments".
