1st. Steve McEwan - Undead
2nd. Mike Wilkinson - Amazon
3rd Christian Burnett - Orcs
4th Shane Bradshaw - Skaven
5th Rob Walker - Lizardmen
6th Steve Butler - Orcs
7th Dave Gee - Chaos Dwarf
8th Duncan Railton - High elves
9th Aron Isom - Dwarfs
10th <I forget> - Orcs
11th <I forget> - Orcs
12th Tracey Heywood - Undead

Not bad from memory.

The 32 point system was used - I went 2 1 2 so pretty mediocre. But didnt win or lose by more than 1 TD all weekend...

Last game should hav won - but had 4 casualties in 3 turns done to me :D

good fun tournie though - and I got a trophy :o

All my games were incredibly close!.....need rematches against the two steves though...

Only 8th Noodle? That's a bit of a slip from your previous tournament. Well done for best painted though!

Morph> The competition was a tad stronger than at the student nationals - but I was pleased to see it was nothing I couldn't handle...

I lost 2 games - and they were ALL very close...

Lessons learned? Drop a lion warrior, drop a FF by 3, GET A THIRD REROLL :o

(teach team how to GFI)

Well done McDeth mate! :)

Thought it was gonna happen sooner or later, usually there or thereabouts (I made Steve's record at Spiky and the BB a combined W7 D3 L2, with the only 2 losses being by a single TD in all-Undead games, to Grumble and Sputnik).
What's the record now, and how many NAF guys did you play? (Top Undead coach I reckon.)

Pulled of some narrow last turn victories to do it, every game after the first was a nailbiter.

Beat Christian, Rob and Noodle all by 1 TD.

drew with Mike 1-1, and won 2-0 againts Steve Butler.

I know Steve wasn't NAF, rest i'm not sure about but as there were no NAF presence at the event i'm not sure if it'll go towards final rankings :(

Game with Mike in particular was lucky as i equalized in turn 8 of the second half, with a 4+ Dodge, 3+ Dodge then 2 gfi's.

However that made up earlier in the game where i needed a 4+ pick up with Surehands for a TD, (Due to Blizzard ), failed it then after mike failed the same roll, the next turn failed the pick up again with Sure hands. After that thought i was a goner, but managed to fightback. That game more than any really won it for me i think.

I'll do a better write up tomorrow. :smoking:
