Hi guys,
I'm back!!
Well, it was a great tourney and for once I cannot complain about my luck.. sad my NAF rating is not higher, but I can take my time to build it up slowly...
Made one mistake all tournament, throwing a gobbo with no re-roll.. there was no need for me to do this and I got a rush of blood which made me think I could score twice... went wrong, but I learned from it and won't do it again in the future...
In defence of my tournament reputation:
First ever BB tourney was the T5 - finished top half with Dwarves, the team I then knew best..
Second BB tourney was Dutch Open - had a dreadful tourney and a dreadful time all told. Wished I had stayed at home.
Third BB tourney was The BB - first matches ever using Orcs, or stars, or secret weapons. Unsurprisingly didn't do too well.
Fourth BB tourney was T5:2 - first matches ever using Elves. Unsurprisingly didn't do too well.
Fifth BB tourney was MadHobbit - second tourney using Orcs which I also have in the league, did well...
Lesson?? Don't change teams around every tourney. Find a team you enjoy using and play well with, paint it nicely to pick up bonus points and then get some match practise....
PS I was drinking Irn Bru that weekend... I'm glad you didn't take a urine sample... it would have melted the recepticle!

We are already looking for a date for the m@hobbit massacre 2504. But before that we'll have to teach the rest of Europe the Dutch are the best!
