Swedish team for the Eurocup?

Post by Puckohue »

Anyone from Sweden interested in a trip to Amsterdam in November?

It'd take about a day (8 hrs or so) from Malmö by car, so we'd probably go there on friday and go back on monday.

And we'd probably win everything there is to win as well... 8)

Do you have a car?

If so, i might be interested. Would have to get from Stockholm to Malmö first, but theres always our realiable, comfortable and cheap railway.

I might actually have one in November, but anyway, the idea at the moment is to rent one of those small buses and get eight of us into it. Would make it cheaper.

But it's still very preliminary. Haven't even begun trying to figure out how much the entire trip would cost. We'd have to arrange sleeping stuff ourselves as well, meaning finding some affordable hotel or hostel or something.

I'd love to go down and see the 'dam boys again. If the Dutch can have an immigrant among them then the Swedes can too.

Finance would be my only worry.

You can definitive count me in for one spot! :D

It´s time to take up our ancestors favourite sport in the dark ages and make the continentals quiver of fear for the nordmens blood bowl force.

We still need four players for making a full team! Anyone from MAFOC maybe? My brother is also interested to come along, only if he can get away from his studies at Chalmers. He is still cranky to have missed both Lincon Swedish Open and Spettcake Bowl I.

Italian Team is waiting for you! :D

I hope you will be able to reach us in Amsterdam... we want to see if the northern regions are as dangerous as they were during the Roman Empire period

Good luck! :smoking:

don't want to burst your bubble... but it's about 8 hours from here to Kobenhagen... Malmo is probably 10+ hours...

I drove to Pisa last year in one day (15 hours).. never again.. let the plane take the strain!

Now that is where you are wrong. Malmö and Copenhagen are pretty close together.
There's a ruddy great big bridge down there that effectively links the two.
From what I've heard its about an extra half hour, so 8 hours between Malmö and 'dam is probably not far wrong. If I trained it down to malmö overnight the day before the big drive I could probably make it....maybe...
I'm due a couple of days off for Bank Holidays I worked etc....

Then I can kick even more dutch arse (lifetime: 3W 2L 0T against Dutch players.)
