Many thanks for making this archive. It's fantastic to look over the old 2nd ed literature again, the background for that game was so strong, I really think it's one of the reasons this game has endured. The only thing I couldn't find were the cards that originally came with the 2nd ed. star players book. I don't suppose anyone has scans of them (front and back) that they'd be willing to add?

I'm afraid not, no one has told me they have them :(

What a shame :( I loved those cards, especially reading the crazy amount of detail that had been put into the stats on the back. Unfortunately I cut all of mine out and used them with the 2nd ed games I played with my friends, gradually they were scattered to the four winds and when the 3rd edition arrived I lost track of them all. Let's hope someone can supply a set for this great archive. Once again thanks for putting this together, it's been a really enjoyable trip down memory lane!

I'm glad you like it and find it useful.

I keep on asking people about the things that are not there yet.

Hi everyone!!!

Nestyr has scanned and emailed me the 2nd Ed. StarPlayers Cards and we're very thankful for it, aren't we? :D

I've added it to the 2nd Ed. section.

Great work guys, but can I just post a

Scanning tip:

To avoid or cut down dramatically the bleed through of the print on the other side of the page (White or lite paper).
Place a BLACK sheet of paper behind the page to be scanned and you will not get the letting on the other side of the page being visible or anywhere near so in most cases.

Thanks for the advice!!!

I didn't scan anything myself, I just gathered it, but I'm sure that the friends that have scanned and sent me things will take note.

PRO-TIP! Thanks Skritter - I've been trying to figure that out for a while now...

Might have to re-scan some stuff now *$#!%*

There seem to be only 44 cards from Star Players, but the book says "This book includes 48 printed Star Player cards" (pg6). Are there a handful missing, or is the 48 a typo?

EDIT:(Answering my own question)

Thanks to this thread:

I've worked out who's missing.

Wonder where they got to.

I'm away from my stuff to mid-June, but will check this out when I get back to it.

Cheers,

I downloaded the stuff and made a torrent out of it. I hope nobody minds. (It's such a drag to download them all separately from Megaupload and wait 45 secs in between.)

Added the Beach Bowl pdf's I downloaded a while ago to it.

It's a nice idea, this way people can download everything at once or just the parts they want :D

I might have spare copies of the Compendium No.2 and Blood Bowl Magazine No.1

I will try and check over the next few days and if they are additional copies I will donate them to you so you can add them to this library
