Hi... Lookling for some help...

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

Hi... Lookling for some help...

Post by girbaudattire »

I was wondering if anyone can help me, nobody wants to be of assistance in the actual FUMBBL sit so I am hoping someone can give me some assistance with an issue I have with my javabb:

OK....I have had no problem with the bbjava game since I have recently downloaded it about a week ago... after my mother had to completely reboot the computer, I had to download it again. I just tried to get into a game, and after entering the proxy name whether launching as client or serveer, my computer brings up the file download screen, and asks me if I want to "open or save this file".... this never happened before. and no matter which option i choose, a pop up comes up stating "C:\DocumentsandSettings\IrmaAcevedo\LocalSettings\TemporaryInternetFiles\Content.IE5\3IW3ZT0T\bbowl[2]jnlp Application not Found

How can I get my bbowl working again? I really want to get back to playing can someone help me?

i remember having this problem, but I forget how I fixed it. maybe I can remember later....

but you could try reinstalling java, clearing out your temp files folder, etc.

also try emailing ski-junkie---i think his email is on the download site.

try right clicking the Bbowl icon, open with... then select (i think) javaw... or your jnlp file that points to javaBB might have been deleted, was Bbowl installed into the same place?

also id sugest reinstalling Java again as well
