Dont know whats causing the problem, but if i add more team sheets and save it, it crashes when i open the file again.

i've heard that quite some times now with other versions of the sheet and never got to reproduce the effect on my computers. My guess is that it's a memory issue somehow.

Can you send the file that crashes on your PC when opening to my email? Then i can check if i can reproduce the effect this time.

If you have Office 2007, i've created a version without backwards compatibility (.XLSB format), that uses only 6% (!!!) of the file size. You'll find it on my website in the same archive as the .XLS.

I also found a small error that causes compatibility error messages to occur during saving ...

All teamsheets have an unused data validation in cell Z25 that causes this error. Please either delete that data validaiton in your version or redownload V4.01 (i'll upload it up tonight).

Edit: V4.01 available on website.

one of the joys of win7. if a program crashes too often it starts searching for updates. after i made the cook book/office excel crash for the 5th time i was offered some updates. this appears to have solved the issue i had.
thanks to Tim for getting in contact.

V4.02 released with a minor fix fix in the league scoring calculation (scoring based on touchdowns scored was not working).

While i was at it, i added some new calculation options to create custom league ranking systems. It will now handle all kinds of touchdown and/or casualty based bonus points. ?!?

.XLSB for Excel 2007 is removed from download. Use "Save as" in Excel 2007 to create it.

Thanks alot, glad you like it. I have some fun in maintaining the sheet and enjoy contributing to the community, so I'm not looking for any kind of compensation.

If you want to donate, you can always give a few bugs to charity on behalf of the Halfling Scribe. In Haiti, for example, i'd say they need every $.

Haiti it is!

On another note... have you contemplated an option to print a single-page roster for a team yet? (ideally this being the page they play with and provide a copy for their opponent to peruse...).

That's all it seems to be lacking, but either way, it's still great.

Hey Tim, great job on this as always. I had a request though. I saw on the forum topic for the old version that you could make a 50 team version. Would it be possible for you to make a 48 team version? I'm comfortable with editing the database, but have a feeling I would really mess this up if I tried to do it myself.

Is the value for Extraordinary skills supposed to be added to a players TV automatically? A Wight in our league has gained the Fan Favourite skill and I've entered 30,000 into the value column (AG) but this doesn't seem to have updated the value in column S.

Hi Tim,
I've just discovered your amazing excel file! I'm planning on using it for the new league that kicks off next month.
But I've noticed - while testing/messing around - it didn't change the teamvalue when one player would misses the next game? Is there a special code I should put in the injury field?
Thanx for replying!
