Trying to find the 'fast match scheduler' plugin .. that's the only question now actually.

It is a core feature in the latest revision of OBBLM. Also I don't think it was in .8. What version are you using?

Using 9, I can modify tourneys to allow anyone to schedule matches, but 'fast match scheduler' I can't find at all.
When I run update.php I don't see anything more recent than 8.0-9.0

It should be under Matches -> Schedule Matches, or if you have not allowed for coach scheduling, under Admin -> Schedule Matches
