TT League needs a home

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

TT League needs a home

Post by Bob Bifford »

High guys me and a few friends are running a league and at the moment we are using our clubs forums but this is not good enough and starting to get cluttered and as none of us have admin rights we can not sort it.

Im asking is there some where we can run our league from? which could also track stats etc etc.

Many thanks.

If you guys are computer savvy you can set up a site with OBBLM (online league manager). The NAF site has a simple league tracking feature for members. Won't track anything but you can create a group on Facebook for communication. The is also a spreadsheet the commish could use to track things and then post scores and stats on a blog, maybe with some highlights like sports news or something.

There is also an AROS league manager that will host everything for you but they charge annually so I'd save that for a league with a lot of coaches that can pay dues. It is nice though.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Here's a link to the Edinburgh Blood Bowl leagues one: http://www.albabowl.co.uk/ebbl/

I set up a site for my league running OBBLM - it's not that difficult to set up and the costs aren't too bad (around £25 a year for the domain and webhosting)
