However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

Turn Timers

Post by Vanguard »

Looking for recommendation for phone and tablet apps that can be used as turn timers for Blood Bowl matches.

Don Vito was using an app called Battle Clock at the weekend, which was very good but seems to be Apple only. Has customisable turn and time limits, big buttons when in use and a clear UI for which player was active.
I found an Android app called Game Timer, which is ok, but not as nice as Battle Timer.

Wondering if anyone else has used anything or has any recommendations

EDIT: Found Chess Clock, which seems to meet the requirements with a little bit of tweaking.

I've got a kitchen timer on my phone. I think it is called Kitchen Timer. It does the job perfectly.
Looks like this:

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

There's are plenty of BB apps for Android:
- BB Ref is a timer but also a handy reference as well as registering/keeping track of game events as well as pre- and post-match results. It can then mail everything in table format to the user and any other mail addresses needed.
- Interception (by Cyberedelf) does what it says: a passing chart where, plotting X vs Y the user gets the legal interception squares.
- BBowl Fantasy Football manager is a roster manager. Good one but in mixed languages and not free
- BB roster is another manager but is currently in beta
