A SPP Front Page Box Problem?

All I want to do is have two boxes on the landing page that display the highest SPP Player of each active Tournament. For some crazy reason, it only shows the SPP gained in that tournament, not overall!
I can only get it to show the League as a whole, the moment I want it to identify a player from a Tournament it does the above which is no good, I need the total.
