OBBLM - finish a tournament

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

OBBLM - finish a tournament

Post by sann0638 »

Hi,
how do I "finish" a tournament in OBBLM, so that it does not show in the current tournaments? It's an open schedule rather than Round Robin.

Ta,
Mike

I think you have to schedule one match as a "Final" in the round selection.

Scheduling a match as 'Final' will indeed close the tournament. However, it will also record the winner of the match as the Tournament winner and add it to their awards.
That part of OBBLM is very much designed for leagues with a play-off section at the end.

The best short-term solution would be to wait until all matches are played and you have a winner (assuming that it's based on league standings). If you then change the last match they won to be the Final, then it should all be ok.

Haven't tested this but can look at it further if that doesn't work for you.
