Arghhh,
excrusiating. The agony of choice.
In the end I picked the skaven thrower.

Brownie Points for the runners up: The linechick, the mummy, and the chaos fattie.
Great work :D

Vote Santa?

Lets be honest....there are at least four of the other minis I'd place ahead of it...and my reservations on two of the others are mere quibbles. I'm still chuffed about those eyes though.

Should get some pic of my Apothecary maybe...the only time I've ever managed to get a skin tone I'm really happy with (the Santa...hang on... Deathroller guy....looks Jaundiced.)

My newly repainted Cheerleaders look like they have some very nasty allergies.

thanks for the feedback

hey everybody,

thanks for the feedback on my grim - the picture really sucked (not that it would matter - woody and the chaos allstar are much better!) i always wanted green-bearded slayers, but it didn't fit with my regular dwarfs so i made it the central theme of my bb team - the kegmeisters. although now i'm tempted to but another box and paint them with white beards like our favorite christmas hero....

longfang - i love the color in the two chaos allstars! the second is even better than the first.

Hey Valdric! :)
Perception is a funny thing. Both of the Chaos All-Stars were finished prior to the compettion (indeed they were scanned at the same time). Longfang was much happier with the Vomitflesh fig. than the second one, yet you're the second person to mention that you prefer the second! :-?

Well, a difficult choice, but DWs tiger stripes swung it for me. I preferred LFs colour scheme, very eye catching, but the attention to detail of DW just edged my decision!

Good work everyone!

PS Thads, I like the Deathroller, but don't bring him to the Dam, there's no star players, remember?

Ho, ho, ho... Maybe your Santas can get the elves to work a bit harder..

It isn't a star player! 's a Secret weapon!

Anyway, Psycho Santa will be coming to 'dam, but he'll be staying in the garage. I'll be bringing along my ENTIRE Dwarf team. last count: 43 models.

And just for the record - MY Grim Ironjaw has Rainbow coloured hair.

I'm sure he's a star, but either way he can watch and form a mean looking audience....

He's a star until they finally get the secret weapon rules back to official status. Seeing as I don't see the problem with the old Gold Secret Weapon rules...

And if we're wanting an audience, those 43 models include 5 Cheerleaders. 4 Musicians and the team Standard Bearer (a very lightly converted Runesmith).

Erm, ATTENTION TO DETAIL...........look closer at the two Wodell figs and spot which has attention to detail and which has a pretty pattern!

I really don't think the second chaos fig is better. The Vomitflesh fig is shaded much better, ok the flames aren't as good but the armour, skin and uniform are.

you're right longfang - the second chaos fig is more eye-catching (at least to me) but after giving it a more thorough look, the first fig is mux=ch better on a technique level.
