Limited Edition figure or new ogre?

Post by Indigo »

Just wondering - apparently we are all getting a limited edition figure for this tourny, but I was afraid we might be getting one of the new ogres... Don't get me wrong, free minis are good, but I'd prefer getting something special for taking part rather than a model anyone can buy.

What do you think we will get, special ed. or an Ogre?

If a whole new figure ... use it pay for your trip.

Only ONE!!! Resurrection Gutter Runner has ever gone on Ebay that I know of. It went for 130 USD. If the figure given is a new limited edition figure for a team you don't play ... be the first to Ebay it to make a mint.

I heard this rumour that they're going to release a limited edition human star player:

He's known as JJ and has the following stats:

7 5 5 9 Block, Dodge, Mighty Blow

Incidently, the miniature also looks like a tiny Jervis Johnson

A coach in our league used a frost giant Ogre for his Norse team. Several of the coaches in my league do awesome conversions to make players better fit the team fluff.

Maybe Phil will read these posts and do a line of Big Guys that fit the fluff of certain teams. Snow Troll & Frost Ogre should be top of the list.

that phil guy (oh wait, now that i've cast off my lucien swift identity i can't keep up that charade)...

...anyway, i can't make large figures effectively, multi-part figures mean multiple molds, and i can't afford that... one-piece large creatures aren't particularly dynamic, and have to be a little small compared to what you're used to...

besides, i don't make bloodbowl miniatures... well, i can when they let me work for them, but not on my own...
