1) If you are allowed to take part (I think you should be!)

2) and if you should win...

3) where are the "Celtic Nations" based exactly in order to host the 2006 Eurobowl... Glasgow? Dublin? some Welsh place I can't pronounce?

I am not sure if we will get the 8 needed to be honest the only other guys I know could play in this team is Ilkither (SCO) and Hoomin (WAL)

, so thats only 5 so the discusion on the other thread maybe pointless tbh.

the reason I'm contributing (or attempting to anyway) to the other thread is not out of any interest in whether a Celtic team is allowed in or not...

but because the statements by some people that Scotland is not a country in it's own right both amaze and offend me...

It is? I know it has it's own currency and borders etc. But please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm curious. Didn't Scotland vote against being a separate country some time ago in a referendum (about 5-10 years ago I think).
(Just so you know. I allways have a special feeling when I cross the border to Scotland, so in my heart Scotland is a country of it's own, and that whilst I'm not even Scottish!)

If we play and win, it will need to be discussed which is easier to get to cost and so on.

I have just been told there is Thads and Haggislad so come on boys that would be 7 so we will only need 1 more.

i'm half scottish and part welsh does that mean i can scrape in

count me in lad.

also on the where to hold the next one if we win, then it could be based at any of the countries in a rota like scotland first then ireland and then last in wales with the unprenounceable name.

scotland is a colony of england (i want to use a better term than that though) but they have their own law system and currency the same as ireland does (not northern ireland though, i think they still use pounds sterling along with the welsh) and each country has their own sporting teams so in my opinion they have their own identity for this excercise.
