Well the Northern Warlords (which myself, Lucifer, Max Horseman, Glum_Ellis, Spencer_the_rover and others are members) are the current Club Challenge champs - the club as a whole, that is.
So indeed some more whupass will be handed out
As for Lucifer's former glories...? He's all washed up now of course but he did win one or two fairly significant warhammer tournies once upon a long ago.
He'll tell you all about that if you ask him - a forlorn figure clinging to past triumphs he has no hope of ever repeating...

It wasn't NAF last year so I'm guessing it won't be this year.Nazgit wrote:Btw, does anyone know if this is NAF, or even how to contact the WPS to find out?
However, I reckon some (most?) of the entrants will be members so it would make sense to make it NAF.
And it wouldn't be too hard to manage given that there will probably be about 20 entrants in total (going on last year). I wouldn't mind collecting the stats.
I should ask what exactly doing NAF rankings for a tournie entails? Is it any more than just recording all the NAF vs NAF results/scores and then passing them on to the NAF peeps?
I could get in touch with the WPS to sort this out...

For the NAF stuff whoever is responsible for BB (I expect Conrad is a little busy with other things) needs to get in touch with Deathwing (Woody) who will check the rules etc and then approve it.
This is a really good tournament to go to - because unlike most other UK tournies its a multi-system event. You can get to have a look at some of the best converted/painted WFB & 40k armies in the country and its huge as well (IIRC 300+ attendence) and the atmosphere was really good.
So go and have a laugh.

So what do we need to do to make this happen please.

As Ian says, an excellent tournie (and the only one with real inter-club banter) but sadly numbers are dwindling year by year. Get it while it's still here to enjoy!!ianwilliams wrote:This is a really good tournament to go to ... (IIRC 300+ attendence)
