FANTASTIC TOURNEY!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

So many good things this past weekend, I don't even know if I can remember them all...

They included (but are not exclusive to):

Playing Sputnik in a tourney after knowing him for years and not having to rely on it being in the random 1st round draw... :P

Playing Djengis again and getting a small measure of revenge from the Dutch Open game we played in February... :D

Watching Lucifer trying to fend off strange men intent on telling him jokes whilst we sat drinking on the canal-side... :o

Drinking until 2.30 in the morning on the Saturday and taking 30 minutes to walk the 10 minutes back to my hotel...

Managing to scrape back from 3-1 down at the start of the second half to a 3-3 draw against Wood Elves... 8)

Loads of fun, fantastic venue, great organisation (well done to Dave, Draco and everyone else who helped especially the reserve players), great opponents every single one and nice to have a good view when ordering your beers....

I don't think I can stay away from this event next year!

Cheers!!!

YES!!!!!

My dwarves went up 10 points in ranking...getting closer were they once were before the Dungeonbowl.

And I'm still not the worst Halfling coach in the world. Draco got closer, but with less than a point difference he defended the last place. That means I don't have to get them out of retirement, yet.

Cheers to all for a great tournament, especially Dave and Draco for the organising, and Grotemius for being such a great host. Certainly will be back next time. Certainly a good place to play BB.

Not so good on the results front though.

Lost to Tojurub (Probably accounted for most of the increase in 10 for him, as I've plummetted somewhat!), and two draws, with just two wins on the book (one against halflings  ). All the games were fine though. Sorry if I wasn't too sporting in the loss Torsten; it was very frustrating after not beating the amazons as my players went down!

Look forward to seeing some of the faces again at Ostende.

Cheers

Richard
