problem is I don't know too many guys that come from the "borderlands" around Antwerp, so organising a venue would be difficult...

I'd be up for a Holland - Belgium game though.. I suspect a few of the Dutch squad feel they have a score to settle too

As it happens to be I live some 10 minutes from the Dutch border, seeing that it would probably be only some 15-20-ish players I think I could arrange a (probably free) venue without any problems, either in Turnhout (just over the border) or in Antwerp (I work there) in case people prefer to play in a big city.
If the dutch are genuinly interested I'll contact Nighthawk to see if we can slap together a Belgian team.

Right, but if you do so, then start a new thread for it.

Shall we start a thread to decide how we are going to select the Dutch coaches that can play? (sorry couldn't resist!)

a Dutch-Belgium clash sounds like fun to me! i think a lot of players from the M@dhobbit league would surely be interested to take part!

It would be good to try to get more than just the 8 guys who play at Eurobowl... how many Belgians can you field, 12? more?

I think we could easily get 12 coaches and possibly more, especially if it was a 1 day event.. maybe June?

I think we could get a 12-man team, probably more if we post something on FranceBloodbowl (since our french speaking countrymen rarely visit tbb). If memory serves me right there were some 15 coaches on the eurobowl shortlist for the 2005 edition.
Sent a mail to NightHawk to ask whether people at the brassman (about 80% of the eurobowl team) would be interested.
I am definately in favour of a 1-day event tough, june seems good too.

Funny that... the Eurobowl was initially planned to be a Belgium-Holland clash and grew out to be much more (ask Lucy).
Now we're going back to the original setup... I like it!

So, dear neighbours, still can't accept your loss? :P

Bat (dutch socialist workers) support Draco to organise it for the Dutch.

He's multi-league/cultural/religious.
The perfect mediator for the Dutch.
