Well, my vampires were as deadly and effective as I expected...

They were very good at killing thralls... and catching rocks...

Other than that, the matches I didn't bite myself out of the race, my team did great.

Another great tournament. Next year the title will be mine again!

Very funny tournament again! Thx Ramsay for organizing it, Caroline for falling in at the last moment, and everyone else for the funny matches. And of course congraz to Andre and Niels for their joint victory!

My funniest moments during the weekend:

1) against Niels: His Troll fouls one of my players at the line of scrimmage, my fans spot it, throw a rock (roll a 6!), the troll dies horribly horribly and does not regenerate....

2) against Caroline: my dirty player fouls her wardancer only 4 squares from the endzone, so I expect him to be killed by angry wood elf fans immediately (but at least the WD is off the pitch). The fans spot it, throw something - but it's inaccurate!
At that moment Ramsay decides to help and speed up the game, he picks up the D8 and rolls for the scattering rock - which eventually ends on the prone WE catcher 2 squares away, killing him in the process....
Ramsay (to Mrs. Norse, who gives him an evil look): "Don't look at me, dear, it's all her fault. She fouled your wardancer, I didn't!" :P

3)The last 2 TDs of the game against El Condor. After trying to settle for a draw by throwing the ball as far away as possible into Condor's empty half, he manages to pick it up, pass, and score in his turn 5. But aided by the scramble, in which precisely the right player - the blitzer with dodge - moves forward 6 squares and the others stay close to the ball, which also lands perfectly, I can score a one-turn TD for 2-2 in my turn 6 (still had to pick up, pass, catch, dodge through tackle zones, and go for it - twice). In turn, everyone decides to go to the pub, so no one-turner for the condor...
