Cheers guys. This is what we have to put up with - all these Jonny-Come-Lately's who are new to the EB tournament.

Still, if they stick around long enough they may be able to learn what it's all about.

I'm 100% Scottish but I probably wouldnt be able to make it to this year's eurobowl this year, but if you're short for coaches (unlikely) next year then I'll happily step in and play for Team Scotland.

I'm fairly new to BB anyway, but seem to be picking up the strategy fairly well. My Norse are currently winning our local league quite convincingly. Even if I were able to go, I'd find it difficult to get down there as I'm only 16 and obviously can't legally drive. I'm not even a member of the NAF yet.

not really things you have to worry about and next year its going to be back on the continent again

not sure if your parents would approve of you at 17 flying to europe with a bunch of strange board game playing idiots like ourselves ;]

still don't rule it out, you can legally drink over in most of europe at that age heh

The only thing that's halting my possible travel arrangements is my current lack of money. I could probably scrape together £100 for ticket and a few beers, but transport costs on top of that would be difficult. Especially seen as I have to pay full train fares now.

hey up your majesty

well the tartan army team is on hold this year. too many others wanting to do other things rather than play with their little men. oh well.

what i'll do for next time is actually sort something out properly. have a regular update on team news (like who's available to play) maybe even set up a small forum where all the scots can get together. It may just bring everyone together a little more. hopefully anyway.

and then next year it will be the year of the scot. well maybe anyway.

good to have you around though your royal highness. don't be a stranger though.

andy

oh my, have you explained your reprebate ways to our new sovereign? i bet you haven't yet have you hoomin?

it'll be good to see a few scots down there though. if nothing else it'll give us all a chance to meet up and have a beer or two which after all is the main thing.
