EUROBOWL 3 RESULTS
OK, I'm shattered after a fantastic weekend (seriously so much thanks to everyone who travelled to England for this event - just, well, wow)
Tomorrow (after sleep I'll try and post the video of the awards, but in the meantime here's a link to all the results:

Just read the line under the three result entries: it says that you have to download a MS snapshot viewer.
Honestly, I haven't bc I'm reluctant to install any MS software beyond the neccessary stuff as I have made the nasty experience not being able to uninstall MS software afterwards (MS media player 8.0 anyone?)

1st - Italy
2nd - Spain
3rd - England
4th - Denmark
5th - Germany
6th - France
7th - Austria
8th - Netherlands
Great tourney once again.
Some comments from an England POV...
We had an awful first day, losing all our games vs. Italy, Spain & Germany. This was probably due in no small part to the night before - pints of murphys for 50p...
Anyway, overnight we were 6th place and new we'd have to do something a bit special to restore pride. Game 4 vs the Netherlands and we won 7-1. Predictably I was the only person to lose
Game 5 vs the Danish. IMO the most improved team since last year. From the guys I talked to they were all good blokes and they gave us a bloody good run for our money. In the end we won fairly narrowly.
Game 6 vs the Austrians. Their first Eurobowl At one stage we were looking like we'd get 2.5 points (two wins, 1 draw) but somehow we pulled it out the bag and ended up winning 5.5 to 2.5, snatching 3rd place and retaining pride.
Overall I finished 3-0-3 and it kinda proved to me that the era of the AG team is over... it's all gone bashy now...
Looking forward to Italy in 2006. Mamma mia.... Rigatoni!

oh yes he does mate... just goes to show that thrashing Belgium is not good practise for a proper tourney..Draco wrote:7-1 versus Oranje! Redfang has some serious explaining to do!

must admit the danes came up to me after and thought they were 5th
I am sure geoff will comfirm later on, sorry if there was a mistake, thankfully it wouldn't have affected any prizes.
Thanks again all who came, had a great time.
Just hope Gorbad puts his wooden spoon somewhere for all to see, I know how much he wanted it.
