B7 - Tournament June 10-11, 2006 (Results & Pics online)
The first preparations for the B7 2006 are finished.
http://b7.beckerf.de
For the first time after 2 years research the B7 coin is made of tin:
Because of the sharp edges it was not easy to get a detailed look, but finally we found a way.
Also for the first time you can fight for a new trophy:
" BEST STADIUM"
We are very happy to see more and more coaches who bring their custom build pitches to the tournies like B7 or Baden Basho.
We want to appreciate this and to inspire other coaches to start building their stadiums (like Mootaz http://www.talkbloodbowl.com/phpBB2/vie ... hp?t=17987)
In this way we don't have to build so many stadiums ourself
So keep on - you have still 6 months to finish your stadium!
As you know the soccer world championship starts on 9.6.06. We will find a way that you can watch the soccer games at the convention beginning from Friday.

argh.... that slides show is tooooo fast....and the picts size is to big for the monitor resolution of my job PC
Thanks for the great event again. Great organisation, nice taff games ( which i enjoyed a lot this time... just the last game i was getting quite tired ), great weather perfect for barbecue, funny " side shows" like those "orcs" and "humans" fighting with rubber swords and axes... Than better playing with little puppets
I will try to post my picts tonight... not to much as my recharged camera battery went down suddenly

What I learned at B7: Dwarves can´t play in Sweltering Heat and Dark Elves can!
It was a great tournament, a big "Thank You" to Bärbel and Frank for good organisation and the fantastic looking stadiums and trophies. I also liked the location with cheap food and a place to stay the night for free.
Thanks to my opponents and congratulations to Sebastian with his unusual Dark Elf team winning it all. The final game was very crazy (Pouring Rain, then Sweltering Heat, then Very Sunny! ) and this time I suffered some very bad luck that my opponents had in the former games. I lost badly but it was still a very fun game as I tried to go for a tie. Sebastian´s a nice person and a good coach, so once again congratulations to him. Go Dark Elves!
Unfortenately I had to leave right after the award ceremony to catch my plane so I couldn´t say goodbye to a lot of people and couldn´t get in on the final photo. See you next time.

Thanks to my opponents for the 6 funny and good games(Especially Eatmoremeat for the smooth victory in game 1 and Kekskommander for the last game ).
It was a very great weekend and beside the games we had a lot of fun with viewing at the 'live role playing people'
