Put me down as a provisional. Definetly want to attend again this year, but I "might" be out of the country.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

The Travel Lodge is probably the closest to the university, about a 15 minute walk up the avenue and about the same from the Portswood pubs.
Maybe some of the chaps who attended the last couple of years can give you pointers on the best accomodation, as I don't have a clue as I live there.
I also agree on Swiss, though the ACC is not the same without a final...just one that only takes 2 hours to play would be good.

I stayed at the Highfield House Hotel. Walking distance to the Uni, and crawling distance from the hobbit.

Well the last two years I stayed at Hilton, but its far away from everything so you will need a car to get there. Oly reason I stayed there was that it was free of charge.
You should gang up with some of the other players a share a room close to uni.
