Put me down as a provisional. Definetly want to attend again this year, but I "might" be out of the country.

I'll check dates, but could be a yes. I don't get much time off to go to tourneys, and last year was great, so I'd love to return!

Definately up for it Ben but please drop the final and make it a swiss league (ie can't play the same person twice like last year)

I'd like to come again please and agree that a swiss league is better than a final. Not because I didn't enjoy playing Geggster twice in a row AT ALL

This is a list of lots of hotels.

http://www.databrowse.co.uk/hotels/Hamp ... mpton.html

The Travel Lodge is probably the closest to the university, about a 15 minute walk up the avenue and about the same from the Portswood pubs.

Maybe some of the chaps who attended the last couple of years can give you pointers on the best accomodation, as I don't have a clue as I live there.

I also agree on Swiss, though the ACC is not the same without a final...just one that only takes 2 hours to play would be good. :P

I stayed at the Highfield House Hotel. Walking distance to the Uni, and crawling distance from the hobbit.

let me know if you find anything better

Anyone know the name of the hotel I stayed in last year?
Valen? Hoomin? Gumbo?

Well the last two years I stayed at Hilton, but its far away from everything so you will need a car to get there. Oly reason I stayed there was that it was free of charge.
You should gang up with some of the other players a share a room close to uni.
