da GROTS Kup. The big one is the main trophy that the winner gets his name put on and the small one is the one he gets to take home. The winner also got a LE Lizardman Cheerleader mini from GW as well as the Beer Garden Beauty with barrel pyramid and Night Elf Runners from Impact! Minatures.

There were 2 HF minis given out during each round to the first coach to do a certain thing on the pitch (good or bad), such as get the first fouling CAS or roll a 1 and reroll another 1.

Image
Last but not least, The Nuffle Sucks! award for the coach who managed to get screwed over by Nuffle more than anyone else in the tourney and finish dead last. His name is forever listed on this plaque of shame. :D He get's to take home the coveted Nuffle Sucks! button (or badge for our UK readers)

Well hate to disappoint you but by hook or crook we WILL be there at Gencon this year! (Due to emergencies/duties have sorely missed the last events, heard from many it's not the same without my boys to pick on!)

Besides, someone needs to demonstrate how to make 23 dodges in a row without a re-roll with only AG 3....

Even the Goblin coach gets a +1 to injury rolls! Ow!

A fun tournament. I was shut out of the prizes (Despite being the only person to manage a win against Dave 8) )
Oh well, I had a blast anyway. On to the Spike in July...

As long as you do it with the dice we had out at the event ... its all good ... :D

Also if you bring the Goblins ... just curious what you do to use them with LRB 5.0.

How'd I know those would come up?

Just to remove all doubt I used the OTHER coaches dice all tourny, refusing to use the Cursed Dice of Dino...

:D

And thus I ended up doing extremely well...which means I've been jinxing myself all these years and thus should use my opponent's dice a lot more often...as boy did they roll great! Oh sure the dice finally betrayed me somewhat in the last game against a High Elf team but that meant we made up with it by inflicting Four Casualties! 8)

Thus based on this there's no way I even want to TOUCH another set of Dino Dice unless my opponent insists on using them in order to prevent me using up all the good dice rolls in their dice.

I thought you won a couple of the in game prizes? Didn't you get a couple of Hasslefree minis?

I will post final results in the other thread.

Yes I did, sorry, I should have been more clear, shut out of the trophies :)

The little mini prizes during the games were a nice touch. Added that little bit of extra fun to the games.

Yep, looks like I missed out on a lot of fun! But my budget currently allows only one tourney a year, and that's the Spike. One of these days I'll get up there to Red Deer...
