Partner wanted for tourneys in southern england

Post by sann0638 »

Hi all,

I've posted specifically on the Spikey open tournament, but thought I would widen the net. I'm keen to go to more tournaments, but 2 days away tends to mess up my work/home/sleep life slightly.

So, if anyone else is in the same position, would they like to share a competition? I'm based in Swindon, so would ideally like southern england, but this could mean anything from Birmingham down to Exeter, across to London and the south coast. Thrudbowl, Spikey spring to mind.

No preference as to race - happy to try anything, and have played with most.

Cheers,

Mike

There is a club in Swindon based in a library but i cannot remember what they are called (might be Swindon and District Wargamers but not sure) you could try. I am often in Swindon as my Girlfriend is from their and often thought of popping in.

No, but thank you! I am actually a member of Swindon and District, and there is a BB ladder but no tournament-goers.

i figured he might be able to find like minded people there as getting total strangers to go halfs on a ticket might be a bit harder to do.
