I tried to introduce the idea in Denmark, but there will be little time to get beer between turns ... But in the danish championship we do play 5 games a day... and drink all night ...

After a little more venue hunting, I could do with a little more research:

Let us stretch it to 2 days, as that gives more incentive to travel, but still keep 5 games a day. 10 matches!!

I'm still very keen depending on dates and locations. Any rough ideas?

My only thoughts on the ten game scenario is that I'd class myself as quite a hardcore BB player, I've been known to play FUMBBL non-stop for hours on end and I coped with the 24 hour event last year with relative ease. I know I'm at the end of a spectrum of players, ranging from hardcore, very experienced could play in their sleep and happy to play nonstop, to the casual players and the people who finish a three game day and really don't want to face another block dice.

I'm not sure how many people would want to stretch it to ten games. Don't get me wrong, I'd be very happy to but as mentioned I don't think I fit the 'norm'?

I'm fully aware this wont get a massive turn out. This event will be a test of endurance as well as speed play.

Aiming for 9th of June at the moment. When I have more I will let you know.

One day would be a hopeful yes (though a bit close to Cakebowl), two day would be a no. But that's just me.

5 games a day sounds great fun although I'd have to agree with DonVito's comments. Sadly its way too far south for me, the 1 minute per turn tournaments on fumbbl were great fun.

Arranging this (and the regular Exiles Open) has stalled due the venue hunt being put on hold whilst I have other things to worry about, like buying a house.
