Team for ACC

Post by sann0638 »

Right, it's the Albion Coast Cup next for me. Which team to take? It's a 6 game league starting from rooke, basically, but with 1,050,000 starting roster. I have a choice of 3 cheesy teams (orcs, skaven, lizards), because I've played 21 out of 24, and have these three left. Which should I take, and why?

Take Orcs, in progression that nine armour is going to keep them up and kicking through your six games. They also got me the 'most bloodthirsty' award at last years ACC and I'm a nine thumbed goon, I'm sure you with your grace and skill you can wrack up those casualtys like a evil rabbit at a monty python convention.

Orc or lizards, depends on where your playing the other 2, If your planning on the NAF for last team, Id take Orcs to that leaving Lizards for the ACC, Skaven will do well in most resurrection tourneys...

So lizards get my vote, even "Loner" skinks have thier uses..

I also am a nine thumbed goon and my orcs last year were probably the most beaten up team going!

Didn't see a poll - damn that Tapatalk.

[off-topic, but after all the good things I'd heard about it, I'm not impressed - to much missing from the forums when I use it.]

I'd have to go with Orcs or Skaven - lizzies are a good side, but the Saurus can take to long to skill up, which is needed more than skills on Skinks on a 6-game run. Of the oher two, I'd probably go with Skaven, because Orcs suffer the same as Lizzies do (but not to the same extent).

Targeted MVPs make lizards a lot better.

And judging by last year, there will be a lot of Orc teams. Be brave and add some variety - or you'll find a lot of mirror matches.

Plus I hate playing against Orcs :D

That was my worry, but it's true at any tournament with orcs. Hmm, targeted MVPs - must read the rule pack better...

They were targeted last year. Could be wrong: might have changed.

You can still choose your MVP. So you are guaranteed a new skill every game, provided you can score at least one casualty or completion.
