HumberBowl, Something in the water 1 dayer

Me and Chewie have put our heads together and decided we wanted to do a 1 dayer in Grimsby.

This is the basic premise of the tournie

Teams will be tiered and allocated a certain amount of GC to spend on skills or stats
Skills and Stats cannot be stacked and you can only take 2 of any one skill

Teams will also be tiered for a very special suprise!

Theres Something in the Water

We all know that the water in the humber is a little gross, but what the participating teams didnt know is that the taverns they've been drinking in before the tournie use the water in their beer, and now some of them are feeling and showing the effects!

Before the tournament starts each team will roll and see which players have been affected by the weird water. and a number of random mutations will afflict each team. You may end up with claw on your mighty blow player or maybe very long legs on a troll!


Extra details and further info will be posted when i see a suitable amount of interest. I'd like to see maybe a dozen or so people interested before i set anything in stone. Also state wether you'd like 3 or 4 games

I may be interested in four games, but similar to everyone else reading this I couldn't say one way or another until a date I'd given. Even a rough idea would help?

Well I happen to be moving in a month or so and the potential venue will be just round the corner from my house. Will have to contact chewie to get the rules done and get a date set. Will aim for the summer if thats what people would prefer.

So got a provisional date of the 6th or the 7th of July depending on if people wanna do Saturday or Sunday. Lunch will be included and there will be a trophy and possibly gifts depending on how much people want to spend on a 4 game 1 dayer. Can be flexible depending on what people want

20/21 July -- Gert Bowl 3 -- Bristol _AND_ Fling-Fest 2013 (Non-NAF) -- Birstall, Leicester
27/28 July -- Crumb-Bowl II -- Sutton Benger, Wiltshire

All of these are southern events, bar the Fling Fest 2013.
Assuming 6/7 July is going to be Carrot Crunch, then you have pretty much any other weekend
