sounds like they are fun, without chess clocks what is the best way to keep people on task for turns?

There are a multitude of free apps for smart phones that serve the same purpose. For example, I have "Battle Clock" on my iPhone and iPad. Both would work perfectly well.

90 seconds seems insane. This will heavily favor experienced coaches. It also seems that it would favor fast moving teams that can make quick actions.

Surely teams that have lower movement will take less time to move?

Slow teams normally rely on blocking more, and shorter turns means less time for blocks/working out blocks/working out guard etc - add in the time to make AV/Inj rolls, and just moving is a quicker way to play.

How does are actions in your opponents turn handled timewise?

Unless you can pause the clock when doing their action it could get messy.

At SpeedBowl it's exactly that. I have each coach run the timer for his opponent and if they interupt with a Dump Off (for example) they pause the clock, complete their Dump Off, then restart the clock.

The concept of speed play is fun, but exhausting.

And yet I think I experienced less burnout with the 5 games in one day @ the inaugural speedbowl than I do playing in a normal tournament!!
