"Best" Scoring Entry layout

Post by sann0638 »

I guess this is mostly aimed at Score users, but others may use different (better?) systems.

What's the best way of entering the match data, in terms of where the TDs and Cas fields should sit? I guess the aim being to do it quickly and minimise mistakes.

Thoughts welcome.

As a new Score user I find the default data entry screen really confusing. I spent too much time checking, double checking and triple checking the data entry at the weekend.

A simple reordering of columns would do it for me:
Coach A, TDs A, CAS A, Coach B, TDs B, CAS B

Something in between your options 1 and 2. Of your suggestions, I prefer number 1.

I don't mind the Score layout (now I know it), just tweak the default scorecard for those that use it like me.

Ideally, I'd have it on one line, in the order you input it (T1, T2, C1, C2) in boxes with the team names above it.
Or at least have the scores boxed off.
