Rail Travel to and from York, UKTC weekend

Post by Pipey »

Hi all

I've been made aware there are rail engineering works going on during UKTC weekend (Fri 15th to Sunday 17th January).

I'm not certain of the extent it will affect people travelling to York though I've been told getting to York on Saturday morning might be delayed.

We were planning to take the train from Leeds Airport the friday night and back on Monday. Will that be affected?

I'm led to believe Saturday morning travel would be the problem. I'll look into it...

Oook. My booked train arrives in York at 0940. Might be a problem...
