Mike Kriger Memorial Cup

Post by bound for glory »

Well boys, it is with a sad heart that I make this post.

After 5 years of a pretty good tourney, I think this October will be the last tourney dedicated to my much missed, beloved cousin, Mike. I miss him everyday, as we grew up next door to each other, and as we shared a grandmother, we were always togeather.

I have had problems with my back, and I was lately in hospital. I have had help from my club, The Thurdaynight Hero's. But I think it may be time.

I want to thank Mnb, the only thalkfantasyfootball member who came to play. I want to thank all our generous sponsors:

Gaspez arts
willy
Impact!
rolljordan
Goblin forge

There are many others. Glowworm, Heff, all the guys out on the west coast...All the members who helped with prizes.

I thank you all. You are a generous lot, and I thank you.

I will be continueing the Wild Things miniatures, so for the guys that have followed the series, no worries. There will be a new Wild Thing and Max figure made at least once a year, but I am tring to make it 2 a year, so the team gets finished.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Sorry to see a tournament fall by the wayside.

I had always hoped to make it out from Ohio, but getting free weekends is tough. Good luck with the minis!

America's most venerable charity tournament, the 4 Diamonds Cup, is a bit closer to Ohio (in Harrisburg, PA) if you ever get the right weekend off.
