I sincerely hope they stay in optional state as long as GW don't make them official.

With a issue so divisory, I would be the best politics to let TO to chose.

We are a community of gamers and the community were asked their view. The results seems pretty clear to me.

Both will be more than welcome at my events.

I voted against but it wasn't a strongly held point of view, I'll be happy to include them in next years tourney

Whilst I was / am against the addition of these races and perhaps even the way their inclusion came about, it feels to me that the argument is now effectively lost. I don't see that much value in continuing to argue the point or doing my bit to locally block the inclusion of Khorne and Bretonnians by not allowing them as a TO; it would feel a little mean spirited and difficult for the sake of being difficult to me. I think inclusion in the database, for all intents and purposes, effectively makes K & B inclusion mandatory. I appreciate that some above intend to exercise their right to optionally exclude them (and I respect their decision), but give it six months and I just don't see how that will be practical as people will actively want to tick them off. There is fighting the good fight and then there is cutting off your nose to spite your face, and I think excluding K & B feels more like the latter.

My only hesitance would be if we had new to NAF coaches join a tournament where I was TO, but I suspect I'd just be very clear about K & B and what they are directly via PM or e-mail, such that there are no surprises come tournament time.

I think the horse has bolted and we'd be better off just getting on with it.

this question is the same for slanns
new to naf coachs could discover this roster during tournament... because not present on cyanide or in GW game...

Sure. But you're in danger of getting back into one of the referendum arguments there. I was trying not to. ;)

Again, just correcting factual stuff rather than arguing - as Kislev, Slann are present in Cyanide.

In my rules packs I contain links to all the BB rules and have always contained links to CRP/Icepelt/LRB6 (whatever you want to call it), NAF races (Slann, Pact, Underworld) and latterly the BB2016 changes etc. I will now include links to NAF races (Slann, Pact, Underworld, Bret and Khorne). Anyone reading my rules PDFs should have no excuse for not knowing all the races they may face at my weekends. I would recommend all TOs do something similar (make finding the rules very easy) and this takes that argument away.

I think it is a very big problem organizing a tournament right now. You need to send 10 different documents to players if you want them to know exactly the game rules...

To a certain extent. You probably need 3 - Icepelt, the NAF DZ2 update, plus Khorne and Brets.

Just to ask, is the NAF Rules Update going to be updated to a v1.4 with Khorne and Brettonians added to the additional races? At least then those plus the Slann would be on the same sheet for easy printout.
