Warhammer Fest UK 2019 - Blood Bowl Championship event pack

Post by Skitters »

Has anyone seen the event pack for the BB tournament at Warhammer Fest? The eventbrite tickets seem to link to Warhammer World events page - but none of the Warhammer Fest events are listed on the page. They have redesigned the Warhammer World page recently so I'm wondering whether this has broken the links*

I'm trying to work out whether taking part would allow for time to actually look around the event itself and, in particular, be able to catch the Specialist games seminar at 1pm

Looking at the main Fest tickets there is a start time of 10am and a finish time of 4pm, whilst the BB championship is listed as 9am - 8pm. Assuming it is a three game event I guess it would be something like a game starting at 9.30-10am, 2pm and 5pm

*Just checked and clicking on the event pack on the eventbrite page for the Kill Team and Underworlds tournaments also just links to the event, whereas clicking on the same button for the events at Warhammer World does seem to link to event pack pdfs.

No - Dan's running an event at the UK Games Expo. This is the annual (I dunno, I think?) GW jamboree at the Rioch in Coventry, the week after the NAFC.

I've had a brief skim around and I can't find the rulespack either, I have the same link to WW issue as you, Skitters. My advice to you would be to ask / contact GW via Facebook, they appear to be pretty good at helping on there. Maybe the Blood Bowl account?

I went to this a couple of years ago, and it wasn't well lined up so that Blood Bowl players could go and see Blood Bowl things. When this was pointed out, they did re-run the BB seminar, so I would assume that they've taken that feedback on board and sorted the timings out. Absolutely check first though, if seeing the SG seminar is a big part of your trip.

well I decided to go for it, and three wins with my shambling undead later, I came away with third place and most injuries caused! Nice tankard for my efforts (and a fair dose of Nuffle's favour)

I did manage to catch the SG seminar though had to duck out when they went to questions so I could get to my second game.

A good day although a sense of not getting much out of the actual warhammer fest ticket and in particular not seeing the contrasts paints in anger.

the Tournament ticket does get you into the halls before most so was able to snag Deeproot. and the minotaur.
