Ah, large base is 50mm? So 40mm is medium?
In that case, I semi-remove my objection - my a ST4 Vermin then.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

They are, indeed, on 40mm bases.... Read the bottom of the page.... Rats!

Got to see the Waldgeist, up close, and they are perfect St3 size....

There's a good team in those new Malifaux Oriental minis....

but the mini I HAVE to have (I was going to drop by Wyrd's stand at Gencon and buy more stuff anyway) is this one:

I'll be playing Guild if I ever get a game in, but DAMN that's a nice mini.

Well, here's the point where the metal hits the road and disappointment, unfortunately abounds:

I'd wanted to use these Steampunk Abominations for ghouls... they fit into my Necro vision/theme and match well with their clothing....
Image
I saw them up close today... and... just too damned small.... Crying pity as Malifaux makes breath-takingingly detailed/designed minis....

*sigh*

I'm glad you discovered the size issue. I was debating ordering them for a Necro or Undead team for the same reason.

A service I'm glad to offer to the community....

Just happy my local store carries the Malifaux line....

It also makes Borthcollective's choice of using the Malifaux Necropunks more attractive, though I might hold out to see the size of the Gaki coming this winter....

I like the model, though I'm not sure what is up with that pose. It's like he's sitting side saddle on an invisible motorcycle with some really high hangers, and clutching his invisible handbag in the other.
