70mm? Those are big, real big (obvious statement is obvious), they are also resin so they are more of a display piece. At 70mm they are definatly too big to represent any current player, as for giants, I would still be dubious. It would be like playing blood bowl with an action figure.
I allways liked the idea of having a set of giants feet as halfling treemen. Stomping on opponents, kickin' in team mates for touchdowns and plodding around slowly trying to avoid his own players.

there were rules for a giant in bloodbowl. It was in one of the magazines. A giant played for Asgard Ravens called Gurk Storm Cloud-Scraper

I can't remember his rules off the top of my head. But I think it was something like

6 10 1 10

Might Blow, Break Tackle, Pilling On

it was something like that if you translate it into todays rules i think.

I misread this on first glance and was thinking of halflings as Dufflepuds out of Prince Caspian. Hmm. Idea for next team.....
