Suited / "Gangster" figures

Post by Sandwich »

Not sure if I'm going to be in luck here, but lets try.

I've got a plan for a little project, for which I want some figures in suits - kind of like those seen in Pulp Fiction / Reservoir Dogs.
They're going to be used for conversion, so cheap and plastic would be preferable, and I'm probably going to need around 20 of them.

Anyone know of anything matching this?
Thanks in advance...

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Yea, Heroclix has a ton of similar minis. I don't actually play the game, but only use some of the figs for conversions myself, so I can't be much help on the names of specific minis.

You might go to a site that sells Heroclix Singles and search things like:

Agent
Detective
Officer
Bruce Wayne (and other super hero alter ego names)
Pete Wisdom
Black Mask
(I've used the above two for conversions of my own and I think they'll match what you are looking for)

The pros are that they're plastic and likely to be rather cheap ($0.50-$1.00 usd per figure)

EM4 Miniatures do a stack of 28mm "suits" - nice and cheap too. They were sculpted by Mark Copplestone so they match the models in his own "Future Wars" series - although his are a bit more expensive! They are metal though. Nice models, especially the "John Major"
