Made a little progress today.

The eyes still need a wash with blue ink. The mouth needs some cleaning up.
Still though, I´m quite happy with how the face looks right now. Cost me about 20 minutes to get it this far and the inks and paints are drying now.

Last small update for today:

I finished the skin tones and shading.
The eyes were corrected as well.

I just started with the fur underneath the armor plating.
When I keep this up he should be done by the end of the week.

It's sometimes rediculous how things can take a spin. It took less then 2 days to finish the paintjob, basing and add a few layers of clearcoat (because of the weight of th emodel, even holding him rubbed off large amounts of paint so I sprayed with an automotive lacquer and then sealed with Vallejo matte varnish)

I'm not sure whether it's the brushes or if my technique got better over the 3 year period where I did not paint a single mine, but the small details all needed a revisit when I saw them again.
