Hi all, thought Id share a few pics my latest minis. I recently picked up a copy of Super Dungeon Explore and have been playing it with my eldest. Great fun and fairly simple :D Ive been doing a bit of painting, sculpting and casting. These are on my Soda Pop thread aswell thread

Here are a few shots:-

My son asked me to make him a figure from an xbox game he likes, Castle Crashers(I like it too:))
I made the green and though 'he ll want the full set...' so I decided to try my hand at metal casting, the results were much better than my resin attempts.

Ive also started some final fantasy minis too as they fit in with the whole 8/16 bit style.

Thanks for looking!

Really cool stuff! Your sculpting was impressive, and it has improved!

What was your experience with metal casting? I'm just starting to experiment with resin casting. Curious about metal.

Thanks very much! I find metal casting infinitely easier than resin. Resin casting for me was so hit and miss. The high temp RTV casting silicone for metal is twice as expensive but any miscast can go back in the pot. There is little waste. Plus you can melt down any old / broken miniatures!

Its so low tech, no messing around with catalysts etc - just pop your metal filled ladle on the cooker and within 10 minutes or so when its liquid you pour it in mould. Piece of cake!

Mark's incredible Chibi sculpt is now up on KickStarter as an option in a stretch goal for our current miniatures KickStarter!

The flowers on Aeris' base are a nice touch. Overall, I'm rather fond of what you've done here.
