Stuffed Fables

Post by odinsgrandson »

I usually use the "other" gallery as a good place to post chibi minis (I'm not totally clear on how they became Blood Bowl adjacent, but I'm happy about it).

These minis are from a "chibi adjacent" game called Stuffed Fables. It is a dungeon crawler in which you play as stuffed animals trying to protect your little girl from the nightmare creatures that attack her in the night.

So here they are. I made these photos very large even though the minis are quite small (especially the Stuffies themselves).

Wow, I really don't know how you achieved this fabric texture look but it's awesome!
You're a genius with a brush!

The fabric texture is achieved more or less how you'd expect. Rather than trying to blend the upper layers into the lower ones, you take a small brush and draw the lines on.

It isn't as difficult or time consuming as you'd expect, although it will probably take a while the first time you do it. I recommend starting with something larger scale (or just larger) to get a feel for how the texture should work.

Fantastic paint jobs as usual, congrats!
Love the metalic effects, and as mentioned before the fabric textures too.
Thank you for posting those.
Cheers,
A.
