with their freakish strength/lack of fear and total familiarity with extreme pain (having knackers removed is a good start with pain I've heard), They would be fantastic players of BB.

Er.... let me correct you VUK..

Eunuchs for the most part do not have freakish strength (have you been watching Ben Hur again?) because their total lack of testosterone renders them without aggression.

Furthermore, the imbalance of hormones this lack of testes entails usually results in extreme obesity (the same reason farmers castrate bullocks to make them fat quickly). I don't quite know what kind of gladiators you envisage, but I see fat faggots who hide from danger.

I'm sorry, but I can see no way why Eunuchs should be considered as Black Orcs!!

I suppose though, to extend my original description, the physical state of the Eunuch would depend upon when they had been castrated, as a child or as an adult. That would make a huge difference!
