Stolen from the dnd universe I present the mindflayer team!

Human thralls: 6,3,3,7. GAP, S 40k 0-16

Halfling thrall: 5,2,3,6 dodge stunty right stuff animosity A,SPG 60k

Dwarf thrall: 4,3,3,9. Animosity block tackle thick skull. GS, AP 90k. 0-2

Elf thrall: 7,3,4,7.Animosity GAP, S 90k 0-2

Mindflayer: 6,3,3,8 brainlust, psyonic blast,disturbing presance
GAP, S 110k 0-6

Beholder: 4,5,2,8 psyonic blast, mighty blow, no hands,loner, great arrogance. S, GAP 140k 0-1

Rerolls 60k

Right, psyonic blast : use instead of a block action (even with a blitz) the targeted miniature gains bone head during their next activation but only for that activation.


Great arrogance: works the same as bone head as the beholder decides he is far to important to listen to the inferior intellect of the coach.

Brainlust: the same as blood lust but for brains! BRAINS! (Why don't zombie have this nom nom nom)


Though I do like the player variety with different races, it may just be a tad overpowered. Should I drop them, for just the human thralls. Oh and should the rerolls be raised to 70k?

You've just given the human thralls A and P skill access for no cost increase but the elves pay 20k for P access. If given this roster I don't think I'd take any mind flayers at all. Their special ability isn't too good. Getting Bonehead for one turn isn't too bad.

good concept but just too many positionnals as it is.
psionic blast is also a bit weak, maybe it shouldnt use up a block action and you'd need a roll to succeed.

I think it could be cut down to just human thralls and make the psyonic blast a free option once per turn with a 2+ roll to succed.

Oh and with the skill access for the none mindflayer and beholder I was just trying to remember them off memory and not give them extras, seems I screwed up on that.
