Wildlings

Post by barnacle111 »

I had an idea of a team from the dark dark woods:
I'm talking the scary dark woods, not the tree hugging pansy wood elves... The woods that stalk and shadow and hunt and scare you... things that go bump in the night. If you go down to the woods tonight you're sure to get a surprise...
That sort of thing.

Hunter/blitzer (0-4) 70000
M6 s3 ag3 av7 gsp : ma
frenzy, block,

Wildling/lineman (0-16) 30000
6 3 2 7 g : map
Shadowing

Stalker/runner (0-2) 70000
8 2 3 7 ga: msp
Shadowing, tackle

Terror (0-2) 70000
7 2 4 7 am : spg
disturbing prescence, foul appearance,

The beast (0-1) 170000
5 5 2 9 sm : ga
wild animal, mighty blow, claw

Reroll 70000

Any thoughts?

There doesn't seem to be anything overly broken there. I definitely think the Big Guy should have his name changed to Nightmare because that's what he would become in about 6-12 games. I think the Wildlings are a bit under priced and I'm not sure about letting them have shadowing. But overall I think it's not too terribly out of balance. I'd allow you to play test it on my table.

Cheers burgun, the pricings were all taken from the 'official' galak version on the bb forum.
Oh, the beast/nightmare should also have loner I think.

And no general skill access.

EDIT: Nevermind. He doesn't. I saw that wrong.

At least this didn't get the roasting of the new Khorne roster!

Actually, I think people roasting the new Khorne roster is probably what made everyone ignore this conceptual idea. :D They had something real to tear apart.

They're like a horde of ravenous zombies you know. They'll feed on what they have to, but if there's fresh meat around....

Whats to roast? While it's not 100% there, this roster has more merit, and is a he'll of a lot fluffier than that other piece of crap.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
