Alternate Human Roster...

Got a great idea and/or proposal for BloodBowl?

I have no problem with a human selected for that position being faster than a more heavily armoured blitzer.
Depends on which context you look at. If you stick within the context of the human team only then that's fine, but if you look at the werewolf or the wardancer as well (which are very specialised pieces) then it makes less sense, imo. I think that's a bit different to complaining that your "average" human is the same speed as a similarly armoured "average" elf (high or dark).

Yes, humans have a bit of a high TV issue in MM. Overall they are at the low end of tier 1. None of us know whether 7338 or 8337 or 7337 or whatever will be enough to drag them much closer to 50% overall, so all we really have to argue on is fluff.

I hope we can all agree that none of our catcher models have enough armour to be AV8 without some kind of jiggery pokery :)

Depends on whether you think of AV as purely the amount of armour the player has or a sort of overall "toughness" which includes not only the armour but is an overall idea of how well he can take a hit without being hurt.

True - but I would assume that toughness would be a racial feature corresponding to type of positons, so av variations on the same team for the same species would be down to armour... Unless the toughest players in the human world get there armour taken away and told to try and run fast.

Which doesn't account for the differences across species. The AV stat limits (realistically from 7 to 9 for most normal players) aren't granular enough to make such differences visible in the stats.
