As the owner of a windows phone, which wasn't supported in terms of the app, I found use of the app as a key organisational tool to be frustrating. It meant I had to rely on others all the time to figure out what was happening. If I'd had a phone with the app, I would no doubt have thought it a great idea.

That's a good point. Perhaps an HTML5 web page would be a better cross-platform solution.

As a former Windows phone owner, I agree. ;)

The obvious solution is to have an app (on whatever platforms can be supported), a website for people with odd tablets or whatever, good enough wifi which won't choke when a thousand people use it at once ... and also a couple monitors or info stations for the geezers and luddites. Show some respect, that's you in a few decades when the kids are getting neural brain interfaces.

Anyway, the important part is to have several different options for people to find the standings and their seat assignments. And especially (!!!) that all of the different sources agree with each other!
