Do you plan to attend WC4 in Dornbirn, Austria on October 3-6, 2019?

Yes, definitely -- and I'm bringing my family along for the ride!

Coming to WC2019? Bringing a family?

Post by Milo »

So, we're trying to get some early numbers to gauge interest in the WC2019, especially with an eye to how many people would be bringing a spouse/SO and/or kids along with them. I'll be posting this on thenaf.net and other locations as well. If we know that there will be a significant number of families who will be joining the coaches (and perhaps exploring some of what Europe has to offer either before or after the tournament), we'll work on some extra ideas we've had to accommodate them.

Please choose an option, and feel free to come back and update it as more information becomes available and if your plans change.

I will be bringing the wifelet. But as she is the Vice Captain on Team Exiles A (we may have two teams this year :)) I'm not sure this counts for the purposes you are polling for ;)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

No way I'm missing this!

But convincing my wife to come by and watch me play Blood Bowl for three days straight? Probably not going to happen.

I would love to bring my family... but it is the middle of the school term. :/

Half term is usually the last week in October so the date means that my family would not be able to come.

I would like to come by myself though!

Team Malta will probably increase our numbers from 2 (2 single players) to 2-3 teams this edition :)

That's really great. This is a World Cup, the more nations we have, the more fun it is. :smoking:

I hope I will join the event from Italy with my wife and son (about 4 years in october 2019).
I hope some friends will do the same just to have children and wives spend time together.
By the way, my wife saw the program and the things to do in the area and looks excited quite as me :).

Not for the game, obviously :)

Team chaos is hoping to bring 2 squads... The competative Tem Chaos Khorne captained by Nazgob and the slightly less competative Team Chaos Nurgle captained by myself, we ( the latter) will probably concentrate on the more "social" side of the event. :D

Will be there. I'll be doing as i've done for every international tournament and turn it into a holiday although it remains to be seen whether i'll be joined by the lady after the event or if she'll travel with me.
