When the old NAF collapsed the livelihood of most players ended overnight. Soaren Hightower was not one of these, his fame and wealth earned from multiple cosmetics endorsement contracts ensured that his lavish lifestyle (even by High Elven standards) would be sustained. That said, shortly after the collapse the generous and magnanimous Hightower established a series of charity concerts - “Line Aid” dedicated to easing the financial burden of his now unemployed former colleagues and their families.

Hightower’s marketability and sheer aesthetic appeal led him into an unofficial retirement as he pursued the many off-pitch interests that had threatened to derail his playing career during his tenure with the Elfheim Eagles. While he has had undoubted success as a recording artist, talk show host and model, the lure of Blood Bowl pitch - with its tight fitting uniforms and the chance to hurl sweetly timed spiral passes, has proven too much for him to resist.

Playing on a game by game contract basis has suited Hightower since his return. He is no longer bound by team-wide apparel contracts, allowing him to market his own line of Blood Bowl gear, most notably his “signature” mask range, which he uses to protect his most prized asset. The flexible match schedule also allows him to continue his charity work with underprivileged children and the occasional photo shoot.

None of this however can replace the glory and adoration that came along with the Eagles’ Blood Bowl victory in 2580 and Hightower is searching for the right team that requires his prodigious passing talent to propel him (and them) to the ultimate prize once again.
