There is already a short write up for him in the sticky Star Player PDF in the LRB 6.0 forum on TBB.

Ithaca Benoin was a runner of the Darkside Cowboys team that undertook a promo tour through the desert of Khemri in 2490, and there isn’t a more godforsaken and desolate place. The sun burns constantly, the air rasps painfully in the throat and worst of all, Coach Luxen Tuentir didn’t believe in refreshments during training sessions. As long as the sun stayed up, which was most of the day, the players were grinding away without a single drop of water, and the moment the night came in, they all rushed off into the next pub to start some serious and devastating drinking, which would turn into an even more devastating hangover the next morning and another day of drills under the burning sun.
Beside the damage this tour caused to the players’ physical health, it was also a total blow out on the pitch as the players were at no time in any condition to play a decent ball. But the worst had still to come when after one week of the journey Runner Ithaca Benoin, during one of those nights, took a couple of wrong turns and got lost in the desert. The Dark Elves quickly formed search parties but had to abandon all hope when desert storms raged over the land and erased every chance of finding Ithaca.
This could have been the end of it, but the Khemri teams hadn’t been idle and learned quickly enough that somewhere in the desert lay the buried bones of once star Runner Ithaca Benoin. It would become a long story to tell all about the turmoil, rumours and expeditions around the search for his bones. But to make it short, they did find his bones in 2497, resting under the sand in a perfectly conserved Dark Elf armour, his skull smiling feverishly, his hands clasping an empty bottle. The Khemri priests initiated the resurrecting ritual and Ithaca’s bones were filled with unholy life - and more, instead of just bringing the life back into the remnants of his body, with it came Ithaca’s spirit as well and it took three days of serious cursing, mortal threats and the vicious spirit of a hangover before Ithaca finally accepted his new existence. Much to the thankfulness of the priests who were so much at the end of their nerves that they all applied for vacation.
Ever since, Ithaca has played for Khemri teams but still refuses to take off his Dark Elf armour and even more, still keeps a link to his own race and accepts their offers to play for them. This makes Ithaca one of the most extraordinary skeletons around and it’s still up to discussion how he managed to preserve his personality. The most common explanation though, is found in every pub all over the world, normally ending with a „cheers“ and another round of praising the fuel of every living soul. After all, there seems to be an afterlife, even if it’s just a hangover.

Really read Uncle Bob's write-up ... I like it ... might need to trim it down a bit ... but it was a good read.
