If Max Spleenripper weren’t the maniac he is, he would have another reason for his malicious grinning, as he not only owns his own chainsaw but a chainsaw possessed by the bloodthirsty spirit of Khorne.
Can it be any greater?
Being alive, having a will of its own, that chainsaw oils itself, repairs itself, it helps it’s wielder to find the soft spot of his targets. It even talks to your mind, and snores softly during the night. Being possessed by Khorne, that chainsaw has an insatiable appetite for blood that can only be satisfied on the Blood Bowl pitch. It drags it’s wielder forwards, screaming with the noise of it’s engine, needing to bite, to get fed on those effeminate fools. Sometimes it even turns on by itself, hungering for the taste of flesh, to gnaw, cut, saw in deeply, sometimes right in the middle of the night. You really can’t leave it behind, or leave it to wait for you at home. It speaks to you, urging you, to feed it, to satisfy it, to play with it. It really needs the action that much, and if you don’t – it might turn on you. After all, it is possessed by Khorne, and Khorne doesn’t care who’s blood he’s spilling, who’s flesh he’s biting, and if it’s not your enemies’, yours is just as good as well. So perhaps having a chainsaw possessed by Khorne isn’t that great after all, and might keep you sitting awake at night, unless you’re just as crazy as Max Spleenripper, then it’s just another part of your mind talking to you.
